How to become a member
Brisbane’s Living Heritage Network offers three different categories of membership options for organisations and individuals.
Museum, gallery and heritage places located within the Brisbane metropolitan (Brisbane City Council) region can apply for Institutional or Associate Membership.
Historical societies that do not operate a permanent display or museum site are eligible to apply for the Associate Membership.
Museum, gallery and heritage places that are located outside of the Brisbane metropolitan (Brisbane City Council) region are eligible to apply for Associate Membership.
The membership benefits do vary, so please read about the different categories and associated benefits carefully before selecting the organisational membership that suits your organisation best.
Please download the appropriate membership form below. Contact the BLHN office should you require any further information about membership.
Your organisation must be based in the Brisbane City Council area and be working within cultural heritage with similar objectives to BLHN. Your organisation must also be operating professionally with an admissions policy for the public and regular opening hours.
Your organisation could be located outside the Brisbane City Council area. Your organisation will have similar objectives to BLHN and offer visitors to our city an experience of Brisbane’s culture, history and heritage. Or, your organisation could be solely linked to the preservation, development and promotion of Brisbane’s culture or heritage.
