Jerry is a freelance broadcaster, curator, author, Director of the Seed Saver’s Network, Patron of Householder’s Options for Protecting the Environment Inc. and Patron of the National Toxics Network Inc.
He is also founder of ‘Bellis’, an award-winning, thrifty, sustainable house and garden in Brisbane. His garden, unique in Queensland for growing food with recycled waste water, is open to the public each Mother’s Day weekend.
Jerry’s experience with production nurseries, urban forests, heritage parks and botanic gardens, as well as a presenting role on ABC’s Gardening Australia, has established his reputation as a leading expert in Australian gardening.
