‘Special Events: Successful Public Programming’

BLHN Members’ Half-day Seminar 2019
Examples of successful public programming will be highlighted by three BLHN member organisations:
- Jen Garcia, Newstead House – Case studies from Newstead
- Pam Verney, Sandgate Museum – ‘Bay of Lights’ Project
- Daley Donnelly, Fort Lytton – Innovative Interpretation at Fort Lytton
We will also be guided through the practicalities of event management by accomplished event manager, Wendy Lacey, Director of Team Lacey Consultancy, who has many years of experience in coordinating events large and small, including volunteer-run events.
Includes afternoon tea and an opportunity to network.
Seminar will be held in Substation #5, in Newstead Park, Newstead.
Afternoon tea will be served on the verandah of the beautiful Newstead House.
