Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of wartime with the atmospheric Fort Lytton at Night. On a grassy outpost near the mouth of the Brisbane River lies Fort Lytton - the heritage-listed remains of Australia's only surviving moated 19th century fortress.
Be taken on a live theatrical walking tour and discover Fort Lytton, Brisbane's front line of defence from 1881 until the 1930s.
BLHN, in partnership with Fort Lytton National Park, is proud to give you the chance to experience a truly memorable historical story. Follow the journey of Lieutenant Colonel Raymond Augustus Stanley, a decorated war hero who served in Gallipoli and on the Western Front.
